Join us for a special Teen Read Week author panel, featuring young adult authors who all published their first novels in 2018. Panelists include: Bree Barton (Heart of Thorns); Dana L. Davis (Tiffany Sly Lives Here Now); Maura Milan (Ignite the Stars); Aminah Mae Safi (Not the Girls You're Looking For); Constantine J. Singer (Strange Days); and Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka (Always Never Yours).

All are welcome. Panelists subject to change.

Admission:  In order to go through the signing line and meet Aminah Mae Safi for book personalization, please purchase NOT THE GIRLS YOU'RE LOOKING FOR from Blue Willow Bookshop. At the time of your purchase, we will issue a signing line ticket that indicates your place in line. Your book and signing line ticket can be picked up at the event.

About the Author:
Aminah Mae Safi is a Muslim-American writer. Safi was the winner of the We Need Diverse Books short story contest, and that story appears in the anthology Fresh Ink. She lives in Los Angeles, California, with her partner and cat.

A limited number of autographed copies of this book will be available for purchase after the event.  If you cannot attend the event, and would like a personalized copy of her book, please call us before the event at (281) 497-8675.

If you cannot attend the event, please pick up your unclaimed book(s) within a month of the event date. After that date, your book will be donated to a Houston-based literacy organization.
